Cardio Kickboxing Classes inChicago
Punches, kicks and combinations that torch calories and melt stress, coached in a small group at our private Chicago studio. Founder Bart has led kickboxing classes since the Tone Up Club days, and it shows in the room.
- A full-body cardio workout disguised as learning to strike
- Technique coached from zero: no experience or sparring involved
- Small reserved groups with intensity scaled per person

Who It Is For
Hit Something, Feel Better
Cardio for people who find treadmills unbearable.
Stress Carriers
A day of emails dies quickly under a hundred punches. Clients call these classes therapy with better music.
Cardio Haters
Steady-state cardio bores you into quitting. Kickboxing keeps your brain busy learning combos while your heart does the work.
Coordination Builders
Strikes train balance, rotation and timing, athletic skills that carry into every other workout you do.
Purpose & Approach
What Cardio Kickboxing Is Really About
This class turns striking into conditioning: punches, kicks and combinations drilled in rounds that push your heart rate wave after wave. The goal is a serious cardio workout that your brain enjoys too much to quit.
It assumes cardio fails when it bores. So instead of a treadmill clock, you get skills that build round by round, a coach correcting technique, and the specific stress relief that only hitting pads after a long day provides.
The principles behind it:
- Technique taught from zero: stance, guard, clean strikes
- Rounds structure the intensity, the coach scales it per person
- No sparring, no contact with people, all pads and air
- Core and conditioning woven into every class
What to Expect
How a Kickboxing Class Runs
1
Warm-Up and Technique
Every class grooves the basics first: stance, guard, clean punches and kicks. Beginners get extra eyes from the coach.
2
Combinations and Rounds
You work combinations in rounds that push your heart rate in waves. Intensity scales per person, like everything here.
3
Conditioning Finish
Core work and a burnout round close the hour. You leave lighter than you walked in, in both senses.
What You Get Out of It
What Kickboxing Builds Beyond Sweat
Elite Calorie Burn
Full-body striking in rounds is among the hardest-working hours on our schedule. The sweat is not decorative.
Coordination and Balance
Combos train rotation, timing and footwork, athletic skills most workouts never touch.
Stress Relief on Tap
A hundred punches into a pad does what an hour of scrolling cannot. Clients call it therapy with better music.
Skill That Compounds
Every class your combinations get cleaner. Progress you can feel keeps motivation fed.
Which Format Fits You
Kickboxing or Boot Camp?
Both burn serious calories in a coached group. Kickboxing adds skill: you learn to strike, which keeps your head in the game and builds coordination no circuit can.
Want circuits and stations instead of combos? That is boot camp . Want strength work to lead? See strength and conditioning . Spots are reserved through the class schedule .
