Inside the Class

What a Boot Camp Class Looks Like

No random circuits. Every class follows a structure, so the effort lands where it should.

1

Dynamic Warm-Up

You prepare your joints and raise your heart rate, so the work ahead is safe and effective.

2

Strength Circuit

Full-body strength stations with dumbbells, kettlebells and bodyweight, scaled to your level.

3

HIIT Finisher

Short, hard intervals that push conditioning and calorie burn while the coach keeps your form honest.

4

Cooldown and Next Steps

You finish with a cooldown, and the coach knows exactly what you did, so the next class builds on it.

HIIT Done Right

HIIT Training Without the Guesswork

HIIT works when intervals are programmed and coached, not when you sprint until you drop. In Boot Camp the work-to-rest ratios are planned, the exercises have easier and harder options, and a coach watches your form when you are tired, which is exactly when injuries happen.

Want strike-inspired cardio instead? See cardio kickboxing. Prefer a slower, strength-first structure? That is strength and conditioning.

  • Programmed intervals with planned work and rest, not random suffering
  • Scaling options A and B for every exercise in the circuit
  • A coach on the floor for every round, from first to last

FAQ

Boot Camp Questions, Answered

Is Boot Camp good for beginners?

Yes. You do not need to be advanced to start. Every exercise has scaling options, and the coach gives you the version that fits your level. What matters most is being ready to work and stay consistent.

Do I need to be in shape before starting?

No. Many people join to rebuild conditioning or get back into a routine after time away. The goal is not to show up perfect. The goal is to start and build momentum.

What if I have not trained in a while?

Completely fine. Boot Camp helps you get moving again in a more motivating environment than training alone, with a coach scaling everything to where you are today.

Is Boot Camp better for fat loss or conditioning?

It supports both. The strength circuit builds muscle, the HIIT finisher pushes calorie burn and endurance, and consistency ties it together week after week.

How is Boot Camp different from Strength and Conditioning?

Boot Camp runs at higher intensity with HIIT-style intervals. Strength and Conditioning is more structured around building strength first, with conditioning second. Not sure which fits? Ask at your free consultation.

Can I just drop in for a class?

No, spots are reserved in advance because classes are small and coached. Call (773) 551-9550 and we will set up your first visit.

What should I bring to my first class?

Workout clothes, supportive athletic shoes and water. Most importantly, come ready to move and put in effort.

Where do Boot Camp classes take place?

At our private studio, 5335 N Harlem Ave, Chicago, IL 60656, with parking right by the door. In summer some classes move to the outdoor training area.
