Who It Is For

Sweat With a Plan Behind It

The class for people who want to be pushed and refuse to be bored.

Calorie Burners

Strength circuit plus HIIT finisher is a big burn in one hour. Paired with steady weeks, it is a weight loss workhorse.

People Who Hate Routine

No two boot camps run identical. Circuits rotate, tools change, the outdoor area joins in come summer. Boredom never gets a foothold.

Returners Rebuilding Engine

Been away a while? Scaling options let you rebuild conditioning at your pace inside the group energy that keeps you coming.

Purpose & Approach

What Boot Camp Is Engineered To Do

Boot camp has one job: deliver the biggest full-body training effect per hour for people whose week is already full. Strength stations build muscle, interval finishers push conditioning, and the coached circuit format keeps every minute working.

The class assumes intensity should be personal, not uniform. Everyone moves through the same circuit, but the coach sets each station harder or easier per person. Beginners finish proud, athletes finish humbled, both come back.

The principles behind it:

  • Strength plus HIIT in one session, no cardio-only filler
  • Every station scaled per person by the coach on the floor
  • Rotating circuits so no two weeks feel the same
  • Capped groups: energy of a class, attention of coaching
What to Expect

How a Boot Camp Class Runs

1

Coached Warm-Up

The whole group preps together: mobility, activation and a preview of the circuit so nobody is lost when the clock starts.

2

The Circuit

Strength stations and conditioning intervals in rotation. The coach walks the floor, fixing form and dialing each station up or down per person.

3

The Finisher

A short, honest HIIT burst to empty the tank, then a cool-down. You leave wrecked in the good way.

What You Get Out of It

What Regular Boot Campers Get

A Serious Burn

The strength-plus-intervals recipe is one of the most effective calorie burns you can buy per hour of training.

All-Terrain Fitness

Strength, endurance, mobility and grit in one class. The kind of shape that shows up everywhere in life.

Energy You Cannot Fake Alone

A coached group at work is contagious. Most people push 20 percent harder than they ever would solo.

A Reason to Show Up

Reserved spots and familiar faces turn attendance into a habit. Consistency does the rest.

Which Format Fits You

Boot Camp or Strength & Conditioning?

Boot camp runs hotter: more intervals, more variety, more sweat per minute. It is the pick when conditioning, calorie burn and energy are the goal.

Want the barbell to lead? Our strength and conditioning class is structured strength first, engine second. Prefer gloves and pads? Try cardio kickboxing . Spots are reserved through the class schedule .

FAQ

Good Questions, Straight Answers

Is boot camp good for beginners?

Yes. Every exercise has scaling options and the coach gives you the version that fits your level. What matters is showing up ready to work.

Do I need to be in shape before starting?

No. Many people join exactly to rebuild conditioning after time away. The goal is to start and build momentum, not to arrive ready.

Is boot camp better for fat loss or conditioning?

It feeds both: the strength circuit builds muscle, the HIIT finisher drives calorie burn and endurance, and weekly consistency ties it together.

Can I just drop in for a class?

No, spots are reserved in advance because classes are small and coached. Call (773) 551-9550 or check the class schedule to set up your first visit.

Where do classes take place?

At the private Tone Up 2 Fitness studio, 5335 N Harlem Ave, Chicago, with parking by the door. In summer some classes move to the outdoor training area.
