The Full Story
Where Dominika Started
Dominika is a nurse, and anyone who works hospital shifts knows what that does to a week: nights awake, days asleep, meals whenever there is a free minute. By the time she walked into Tone Up 2 in late January 2024, the schedule was running her health instead of the other way around.
Like every client here, she started with an initial assessment and a fitness test. No guessing and no template plan: her coach needed to know her actual starting point before writing a single workout.
The Plan
Her trainer built the plan around two things: strength training three times a week, and a new food plan designed to survive contact with night shifts. The training was progressive and coached on every rep, and the goal was clear from day one: lose weight while building a lean, strong body instead of a smaller, weaker one.
It is the same approach behind our weight loss training programs: workouts, nutrition habits and accountability working together.
The Work
The biggest struggle was not the training. It was adjusting a late-night shift eating schedule and sleep around it. That is exactly where having a coach mattered: instead of abandoning the plan after a rough week of nights, Dominika and her trainer kept adjusting it until the routine fit her life as a nurse.
She kept showing up, three sessions a week, and the plan kept adapting as she got stronger.
The Result
After her first three months, Dominika was down 24 pounds and had built a significant amount of muscle. The photos above show the change on the outside. The part that does not photograph: more energy through long shifts, better sleep, and a set of habits that improved almost every aspect of her health.
